Project Research

We looked at some brands and their advertisements. Looking into how it’s designed and the target audience that it is aimed for. looking into branding and how they have smartly used techniques in the advertisement. As these are the brands we need to use for our projects at the end of the term.

Here we have a 3D design using a bus stop as a fish tank. 2D design of a plate with a knife made using photoshop. Put together with the fish tank and live fish it’s something you don’t see every day. The caption Fresh as can be with a fish restaurant would be made you know that the fish they cook is really fresh and that’s exactly what they want to communicate. I like it as you don’t see fish tanks at the bus stop and its cute.

Here we have a 3d model of a deck of cards but with adobe on the box, they have probably used their own adobe programs to show what you can do. Adobe has a 3D program called dimensions. Adobe is like a pack of cards if the cards are programs as shown. Cards are never the same in a deck and adobe has the same with programs. I like this as its quirky and playful with the idea

Here is an album cover from nirvana.  They have used Photoshopped as you can see the image is manipulated. It shows a baby and money and some social issues that go along with the music but not sure what the message is exactly but I like the album and is an iconic CD.

Orange juice test! – We had 5 cups of different orange juice brands and the aim was to guess who the target audience was and possibly what brand the orange juice was. This was a fun exercise and made me really think about the different components that make up a project. making me think about the project audience and who i want to reach out to for my project.
